Anyone who’s had norovirus gastroenteritis knows that it’s pretty nasty. It spreads easily from person-to-person, and from (gross, yes, but true) vomit- and diarrhea-contaminated surfaces. Norovirus sucks. It’s been a while since I had it, but it doesn’t conjure up fond memories. A bunch of Canadian tourists returning from Cuba (and presumably all of the other people on their planes) can also attest to the unpleasant nature of this viral infection.
